Advancing Integrity at Sea: MACN’s Collaboration with Black Sea MoU Port State Control Authorities

MACN was recently invited by the Black Sea Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (BS MoU) Chair and Secretariat to participate in a session during the 24th Black Sea MoU Port State Control Committee (PSCC24) meeting in Batumi, Georgia.

This important opportunity allowed MACN to present and engage with Committee member Authorities on the significance and relevance of MACN’s work in combating corruption in the maritime industry.

During the session, MACN received invaluable feedback on how to enhance its anonymous incident data collection and reporting processes. MACN is excited about the ongoing collaboration and dialogue with the Black Sea Port State Control MoU Secretariat, its member Authorities, and all Secretariats of the regional Port State Control regimes globally. We look forward to working together to drive positive change and promote integrity in the maritime industry.
