Enhancing Maritime Standards: MACN’s Collaborative Visit to the Mediterranean MoU on Port State Control

The Regional agreements on port State control – Memoranda of Understanding or MoUs is a crucial safety net to eliminate the operation of sub-standard ships through a system of harmonised inspection procedures. Last week, MACN had the opportunity to visit the Mediterranean MoU on PSC Secretariat in Alexandria, Egypt. During this visit, we shared MACN’s PSC-related activities in the region and globally and opportunities to further our Collective Action with the Secretariat.
