Ghana’s Maritime Sector Gains Momentum through Collaborative Reform Initiatives

Impressive momentum in Ghana’s maritime sector! A meeting led by the Ghana Maritime Authority, in partnership with MACN and CBi, brought together the Immigration Service, Office of the Special Prosecutor, Revenue Authority-Customs, Shippers Authority, Ministry of Transport, and more. This gathering marked a significant step towards creating a unified standard operating procedure for maritime activities in Ghana, streamlining processes from vessel arrival to departure.

The commitment demonstrates a collective effort to enhance efficiency and transparency in the maritime sector. Drawing inspiration from Nigeria’s maritime reforms, we’re excited about the impact this collaboration will bring to Ghana and the maritime industry.
