MACN Members in Action: Columbia Shipmanagement Leads the Conversation on Integrity
We’re grateful when MACN members like Columbia Shipmanagement step forward to represent our collective mission, because that’s exactly what MACN is: a network powered by its members.
Recently, Columbia Shipmanagement took the stage at Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global in Manila, Philippines. Group COO Capt. Leonid Zalenski highlighted how our collective action and capability-building help seafarers and companies say no to unethical demands, and why MACN HelpDesk matters when captains face such demands in port.
Leonid also highlighted our new initiative addressing illicit recruitment fees, a challenge that too often targets cadets and ratings.
When our members act, MACN acts. Together, we’re building a maritime industry where integrity is the norm and fair-trade benefits society at large.
