MACN Presents at the 5th Ministerial Conference of the Abuja MoU on Port State Control

Collaboration is one of the key pillars of MACN, requiring continuous care and engagement. Last week, MACN was invited to present its longstanding engagement with the Abuja MoU at the 5th Ministerial Conference of the Abuja MoU on Port State Control for the West and Central Africa Region. The conference, held in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, focused on “Strengthening Ethics and Integrity in PSC Inspections: Regional Cooperation to Eliminate Sub-Standard Shipping.”

This platform offered an excellent opportunity to advance our work on this crucial topic with delegates from the 20 Regional Member countries, and we look forward to following up on the discussions from this conference.
