MACN Secretariat Meets with Riyadh and Tokyo MoU Port State Control

MACN made a courtesy visit to the Riyadh MoU Secretariat in Muscat in October.

In November, MACN was invited by the Tokyo MoU Chair and Secretariat to a session at the margin of the Tokyo MoU port State Control Committee (PSCC 34).

Attending member Authorities and Secretariats of other regional PSC regimes, while agreeing to the importance and relevance of MACN’s work for the industry, provided valuable feedback to facilitate its improvement of the anonymous incident data management processing and reporting. It was very helpful to get valuable feedback and willingness from some member Authorities who want to collaborate and also provide advice to MACN on how we can improve our data management.
