MACN Speaks at the IAPH World Ports Conference
MACN’s CEO, Cecilia Müller Torbrand, and Flora Caia had the opportunity to speak at the IAPH World Ports Conference held in Abu Dhabi on 31 October- 2 November. The sessions were focused on how greater governance through integrity and transparency drives efficiency and reduces the risk of corruption in ports. With unique data, MACN’s Global Port Integrity Platform (GPIP) sets the standard for port integrity performance. The platform has been the catalyst for engagement with governments across the world to jointly commit to action plans to reduce areas of operational risk and improve trade efficiency in MACN’s collective action countries. Participants also heard from MACN’s collective action countries on the impact we had on the ground.
MACN thanks Captain K. Subramaniam Karuppiah, Port Klang (IAPH former President), and Rajivi Jalota Chair of Mumbai Port Authority for their valuable insight! Thank you Patrick Verhoeven and all his colleagues at the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) for the invitation!
