MACN Welcomes New Board Members and Thanks Board Member Rajesh Unni
Anette Ryde (General Counsel, Maersk Tankers) and Jeremy Grose (Managing Director, NorthStandard Group) have been elected to the MACN Board of Directors.
On 9–10 April, MACN welcomed over 180 member representatives, guest speakers, and partners to the Spring Members Meeting in Copenhagen. During the meeting, the Network expressed its heartfelt thanks to Rajesh Unni (Founder & Executive Chairman, Synergy Marine Group) for his invaluable service on the Board and Synergy’s longstanding commitment to MACN’s mission. The Board also welcomes Øistein Jensen as new Vice Chair of the Board.
Ann Shazell, MACN Chair, shared her appreciation for the newly elected members: “I’m pleased to welcome Anette and Jeremy to the MACN Board. Anette Ryde serves as General Counsel for Maersk Tankers, which owns and commercially operates tanker vessels worldwide. Maersk Tankers has been an engaged MACN member from the early days, and Anette has represented the company within the Network since 2013. She brings to the Board strong legal acumen and deep expertise in compliance matters.
Jeremy Grose, Managing Director of NorthStandard, brings more than 30 years of experience in the maritime insurance sector. Throughout his career – spanning claims, underwriting, and executive leadership – he has played a key role in shaping strategy and fostering growth across the industry. As former CEO of the Standard Club and now co-Managing Director of NorthStandard, Jeremy offers a unique and wide-ranging industry perspective.
