On January 24-25, the MACN Secretariat participated in Indonesia’s Public-Private Forum Dialog on Shipping Related Matters, hosted by the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment at the Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam. The event brought together international shipping leaders and key Indonesian authorities, focusing on safety, security, and anti-corruption measures. The Forum aimed to facilitate communication between the global shipping industry and relevant authorities, strengthen collaboration in anti-corruption efforts, and establish a platform for policy dialogue. The dialog also advised and informed demand-driven policy recommendations for the Indonesian government. This event signals a joint commitment to integrity in the future of Indonesia’s maritime sector.
